Gift Guide 2023 Health Enthusiast
If you know a health enthusiast you know we may be hard to shop for for the holidays. Like can I just get you grocery store giftcards and call it a day??? But if you want to get them an actual gift then look no further, I have a whole page full of gift ideas!! I also did a health nut gift guide in 2022 and 2021 so you can refer to those if you need more ideas. I didn’t want to repeat any gifts since some of you may have been around since last year, besides King because the obsession runs deep, so you can refer to the past guides for more gift options. Plus this year I decided to keep everything under $150 so if you want bigger ticket items then that then I suggest referring to my other year’s guides. I’m sure you don’t know what to get your health enthusiast because their likes and wants are so unique, don’t worry I got you! I either have or want everything on this list, so trust me there is something for your health nut too! There are a few affiliate links in this post- that being said any of your support shopping through my links means the world to me!
Beautycounter clean perfume- Perfume is one of the HARDEST things to find that is nontoxic & won’t contain endocrine disrupters. The whole fragrance industry is wildly unregulated, the term “fragrance” is like the natural flavors for the perfume world. Beautycounter just launched their new clean perfumes in a holiday set and I am in LOVE (the pink one if my favorite)! While there are a few scents out there that are better, believe me when I say beautycounter is head & shoulders above the rest, disclosing literally every single ingredient in their products which is unheard of in the industry. If your gal is new to the crunchy lifestyle but doesn’t want to let go of her perfume, swap her to beautycounter & thank me later!
Navage- This is one of my newest favorite tools in my toolbox. I mean it when I say that you probably don’t need all of biohacks in the world, but if you suffer with sinus issues of any sort- this is your new best friend. I was CONVINCED that netipots were fine when it came to optimizing sinus health, and they still are fine but boy was I missing out on what it feels like to have clear sinuses. This is my new favorite toy that I’ve bought this year, if your health enthusiast has any sinus issues get them this & thank me later.
You can heal your life book- You know I will preach forever & always about the emotional and energetic root causes to healing, it’s soooo important to address them. That being said this book is a phenomenal place to start if you’re new to the world of emotional & energetic causes of healing. I also use the back as an index for emotional causes tied to certain ailments & organs, this book is a 10/10.
Thera03 ozone bubbler- This is another one of my new favorite toys that I’ve added to the lineup this year. I had my eye on this ozone bubbler but I just kept putting it off until I got ringing in my ear & wanted to do some ozone ear insufflation, now I feel like I can’t live without it. The ozone bubbler is really phenomenal for washing fruits & veggies with ozonated water to sterilize and disinfect all forms of unhealthy bacteria, parasites, v1ruses etc. A must have for anyone on their health journey !
King Coffee- I just can’t leave king off of this gift guide- it truly is one of those things that I think ANY health enthusiast would love to receive for the holidays. If you’ve ever tried King coffee then you know that everyone needs it in their lives. It is organic mycotoxin tested coffee infused with reishi spores (the seeds of the reishi mushroom) that are 80x more potent than the fruiting body of the mushroom. I have written a few posts where I go into the health benefits of it here and here. Reishi spores modulate the impact of the caffeine so you get no blood sugar spike, no caffeine jitters, or GI upset like a normal cup of coffee. Truly everyone that I know is obsessed with their morning cup of King coffee and I promise you any coffee lover would enjoy it as a gift. If you are drinking coffee why not have it be the most nourishing cup in the world?
Earthley magnesium lotion- If you aren’t supplementing with a bioavailable form of magnesium let this be your sign to start! Our food is pretty devoid of magnesium because of the depleted nature of our topsoil so most of us need magnesium! This is a good version for people with kids, or if you’re just tired of taking so many supplements! Why not just rub a little lotion on your feet before bed & call it a night?
Grounding mat for bed- I’ve had this grounding mat for years and I LOVE it! Let me just say the first night I fell asleep on it I don’t think I’ve ever had deeper sleep! Grounding is so important for so many reasons, releasing negative ions into the earth, resetting your circadian rhythm and more- but grounding when you sleep? Life changing. This is the highest ticket item I have on this list so it is more of a splurge & you do have to charge it, but I love my grounding mat for my bed!
Countermatch carry on set- Switching to nontoxic skincare has never been easier than buying a whole regimen as a mini set to try! The countermatch regimen is our hydrating line & one that is good for anyone with sensitive skin and where I suggest many people start!! What is a better gift than an entire regimen for your loved one that is nontoxic & won’t irritate their sensitive skin?!
Ned De-stress blend- One of the most important pieces of my health journey was learning to stress less. It was incredibly challenging for me and often I just wanted to take a supplement to do the work for me. Now this supplement won’t do that but it will definitely help. The endocannabanoid system is so important for so many of the body’s functions including the nervous system’s ability to regulate itself. This de-stress blend is not just your regular CBD, it is dominant in CBG which is the mother of all cannabanoids allowing you to calm your body much easier. If you have a former type A health enthusiast like myself, trust me they will LOVE this gift!
Lymphatic drainage tool- This is one of the few things that I haven’t tried on this list but I really want it. One of the foundational parts of our drainage pathways is our lymphatic system. This wooden drainage tool is pretty much just like a big gua sha but for your entire body!! Yes you can move your lymph in many other ways like rebounding, a vibration plate, exercising, or sauna, but who doesn’t love another tool to add to the tool kit? Definitely not a need to have but maybe this one is a nice to have!
Somnifix Mouth tape- You guys know I’m a mouth tape gal through & through for the past 5 years or so. Breathing through your nose when you sleep is so important for helping your body get into a parasympathetic state so that you’re properly able to get into those deep states of REM. Shallow breathing or mouth breathing is not only bad for your airway & tooth health, but it will keep you from getting into the deeper REM states as you sleep & will have you waking after 8 hours of sleep not feeling fully rested. I’ve never slept better than when I started mouth taping at night & somnifix is my favorite brand & I’ve tried bunches!
Innersense Hydrate & Nourish Set- When in doubt, help your health enthusiast swap over their personal care products! While I haven’t tried any of these because I truly love beautycounter’s shampoo & conditioner, I’ve heard good things! Plus these minis are great to travel with and sample a few products without having to invest in the whole full sized product- truly can’t beat it!
Vibrant Self Oil- One of the best ways to help your body heal is to stay in a higher frequency & and this oil will help with that! This essential oils can promote certain positive energies in the body and is also frequency imprinted to help as well. I highly recommend getting it and doing any of the meditations from their resources to help your body get in a state where it is able to release stuck negative emotions and heal from an emotional and physical standpoint. Use code ROOTED for 10% off your order!
Rachael’s GoodEats cookbook- This is my favorite cookbook and I don’t say that lightly. I am VERYYY critical of other people’s recipes, probably because I am a pretty good cook & used to be a recipe developer myself so saying that I like someone else’s cookbook is saying A LOT. Like seriously this is the first cookbook I can say that I actually like! She has a bunch of different recipes ranging from more difficult & complex like soup to easy to follow salads! If the health nut in your life loves to cook & loves new ideas & cookbooks then this is the gift for them!
