Paleo Sesame Chicken
Just because you don’t eat soy doesn’t mean you need to give up Chinese food!
How is that possible? I bring you my paleo sesame chicken recipe!
Yes this recipe isn’t as easy as picking up the phone and calling your local Chinese food restaurant. However, it’s just as delicious and will definitely be worth the labor.
This is one of my favorite date night meals. It’s gluten free, dairy free, and soy free but it’s definitely not taste free! This recipe is also Whole30 compliant if you are doing a Whole30!
One of my favorite foods growing up was Chinese food, so I couldn’t help but take a stab at recreating a version that I can eat now! I don’t like to let my dietary restrictions hold me back from enjoying my favorite foods, and you shouldn’t either! If cauliflower can be rice nothing should stop you from eating your favorite meals.
Sesame chicken and chicken with broccoli were my favorite takeout orders growing up. Finally being able to enjoy one of my favorite meals again is so exciting that I just can’t stop making it- whoops!
I like to pair this with cauliflower rice or sticky rice to really get the sesame chicken vibe! Plus if you’re looking for extra takeout vibes you can always buy little white takeout boxes and fool your family into thinking this is right from the store!
Now what are you waiting for? Let’s get cooking!
